A week before Christmas, we headed over to Rheault Farm for the Santa Village. Alex really enjoyed it, especially the train set (or “choo-choos, as he calls them). He wasn’t too sure about Santa, but we managed to get a nice pic anyway.

We celebrated Christmas with the Lundbergs. Fortunately, the weather held out and we had good driving conditions on Christmas Eve. We attended church on Christmas Eve at Sacred Heart and camped out in the crying room. It was the classic “why did we bother to bring small children” service; Alex wailed and screamed so loud that, even though we were in the crying room, people turned and looked, probably to find out what we were doing to that poor child. Of course, I was stuck nursing Anthony most of the service and was unable to help Mike with Alex for most of it. Grandma and Grandpa came and took Alex to one of the Sunday school rooms for the last half, so the glares and stares in our direction finally stopped.
Christmas day was nice – loud and crazy, but nice, too. The kids all got so many gifts that they didn’t know what to do with them all, but that’s normal, right? Here are a few pics.
This was taken right after church. (Alex was happy by this time.)
What would Christmas be without Elmo?

The little ones and Grandpa were entertained by the computer.
The scenery was very pretty on our drive home, but Alex didn’t seem to appreciate it.
