Before Barb and Dan’s family left for Syria in August, we spent some time with them back at Mom and Dad’s. The kids had a lot of fun.
Here we have a glimpse of the future. Hopefully Alex’s driving improves.
Tony was happy to mow the lawn and the drive way.
Nolan was just happy to not be wearing pants.
Before she left, Annie and her Grandma Donna had a tea party. They decided to invite Alex.
Finally, it was time to say goodbye. We saw the Leritzes off at the airport in Bemidji. Fortunately, they arrived safely in Syria, although not all of their luggage did!
I spoke with Barb yesterday via Skype. Their family is doing well and they are enjoying their time in Aleppo. They are teaching at an international school. If you want to check out the school’s website, it is at http://www.icardaschool.org/.
